Joel T. Hamilton

Joel Hamilton is a co-founder of Schiller & Hamilton Injury Lawyers and manages the operations of all four of the firm’s offices located across the state of South Carolina, while based in the Rock Hill office. With 17 years of experience representing injured parties, Joel has recovered tens of millions of dollars for clients in cases involving auto and trucking accidents, mass transit accidents, civil rights violations, premises liability, and medical malpractice.

Committed to serving his community, Joel formerly served as a York County Councilman representing District 7, where he chaired the County’s Economic Development Committee. He currently serves as Chair of the Winthrop University Board of Trustees and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation Board. Throughout his career, Joel has remained actively involved in organizations focused on strengthening the economic vitality and quality of life of Rock Hill, York County, and the surrounding region.

Most importantly, Joel enjoys spending time with his wife of 15 years, their two daughters, and their three dogs, who are very much part of the family. His daughters are both actively involved in sports, including soccer and cheer, and Joel enjoys cheering them on from the sidelines, including watching one of his daughters play for Charlotte Independence Soccer.
